Training Program in Biblical Counseling
One of the greatest proofs of Christian love is to stand by those who are going through problems, providing them with support based on biblical principles, with gentleness, empathy, and wisdom.
Objectives of the Biblical Counseling Training Course:
To train competent biblical counselors to provide and sustain spiritual counseling in churches and Christian communities.
To develop skills in the field of biblical counseling by applying the biblical message to the daily problems of life.
To promote and strengthen biblical counseling within local churches.
Course details
The training courses are held modularly, for a duration of 2 years (January 2026 – November 2027), 6 modules per year, offered once every 2 months, on Friday afternoons (18:00-21:00) and Saturdays (9:00-14:00).
The topics covered include: spiritual formation of the biblical counselor, marital counseling, family counseling, specific problems (worry and anxiety, suffering, depression, abuse, bereavement, suicide, etc.), forgiveness and repentance, biblical counseling in the local church.
Practical component: 30 hours of supervised counseling (viewing DVDs with specialized counseling sessions, case studies, actual counseling).
Enrollment requirements
Candidates must be mature individuals, recommended by their pastors/spiritual leaders, actively involved in the work of their church, and have an interest in supporting biblical counseling work in local churches.
Registration period: September 23 – November 30, 2025
