EDUCATION

Theological Circle

The current circle of theological studies in the context of the Areopagus Center first started functioning in 1994 in cooperation with the Western University of Timisoara, and in 1998 moved to the Center.

The Theology Circle is addressed first of all to theologians and those who are directly involved in the life of church communities. The circle brings together members from a variety of Christian confessions and has as its principal goals a thorough consideration of the Christian message, the discovery of new ways to promote this message in daily life in society, and, last but not least, a better understanding of the specific dimensions of the various confessions.

Those who have presented papers at the Theological Circle include the following: Prof. Dr. Stephen Williams, Queen's University, Belfast; Prof. Dr. Jonathan Sutton, Leeds University; Dr. Meic Pierce and Prof. Dr. Tony Lane, London Bible College; Scott Garber, Greater European Mission, USA, etc.

Future meetings of the Circle will be announced in the Events section.
